Automation Test Engineer (0–3 Years Experience)
Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer (0–3 Years Experience) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing concepts, test automation frameworks, and programming fundamentals. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Design and implement reusable automation frameworks.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Analyze requirements and prepare automation test cases and test scenarios.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
Execute test suites and analyze test results.
Collaborate with developers, manual testers, business analysts, and product owners.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Prepare test reports and maintain automation documentation.
Continuously improve automation scripts for better maintainability and execution speed.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Automation Testing concepts.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Good programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
Experience with Maven or Gradle.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Understanding of API Testing using Postman or REST Assured.
Familiarity with Jira or other defect tracking tools.
Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
0–3 years of experience in Automation Testing or Software Testing.
Fresh graduates with internship experience or automation testing projects are encouraged to apply.
ISTQB Foundation Certification is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Cucumber (BDD).
Knowledge of Appium for mobile automation.
Familiarity with Playwright or Cypress.
Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
Basic knowledge of Docker.
Experience with Performance Testing tools such as JMeter is an advantage.
Knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest.
Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
