We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and hands-on Graduate Hardware R&D Engineer to join our electronic product development team. In this role, you will assist in the entire hardware lifecycle, contributing to schematic capture, multi-layer motherboard PCB layouts, component selection, and prototype board bring-up. The ideal candidate must possess strong foundational knowledge of core electronics, high-speed digital design basics, signal testing, and a keen interest in hardware engineering.

Key Responsibilities

● R&D Assistance & Component Selection: Assist senior engineers in researching hardware specifications, analyzing system blocks, and identifying core electronic components/chipsets.
● Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Work on industry-standard EDA tools to design schematics, create clean component footprints, and assist in multi-layer PCB layout optimizations.
● Audio & Video Integration Support: Help implement audio/video hardware modules, following guidelines for peripheral interface layouts, signal codecs, and media routing.
● Prototyping & Board Bring-up: Participate in hands-on board bring-up, component soldering, debugging, and testing using lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers).
● Manufacturing & DFM Coordination: Learn and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) guidelines, coordinating documentation with SMT assembly lines and vendors.
● Testing & Compliance: Support hardware validation, environmental reliability checks, and testing procedures required for compliance standards (CE, FCC, RoHS).

Required Technical Skills & Competencies

● Core Electronics Foundations: Strong basic understanding of analog, digital circuits, microprocessor/microcontroller peripherals, and multi-rail power supplies (SMPS/PMIC).
● PCB Design Tools: Hands-on familiarity or academic project experience with EDA tools like Altium Designer, Allegro, OrCAD, or KiCad.
● Audio & Video Field Basics: Conceptual or functional understanding of multimedia interfaces (such as HDMI, DisplayPort, MIPI, I2S, or Audio Codecs) and basic high-speed routing constraints.
● Signal & Testing Knowledge: Foundational awareness of signal integrity concepts, grounding techniques, crosstalk, and basic EMI/EMC mitigation strategies.
● Manufacturing Basics: Basic knowledge of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly lines, and component packaging types (BGA, QFN, SMD).
● Communication: Strong English communication skills to document workflows and collaborate effectively with embedded software teams and engineering mentors.

Education Preferred

● Education: B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
● Portfolio Check: Strong academic or personal engineering project portfolio demonstrating circuit building, PCB design layout, or hardware debugging.
