Job Description: HR Lead
Role Overview
The HR Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department while helping shape and execute the company's broader people strategy. Acting as a bridge between upper management and employees, this role champions company culture, ensures absolute legal compliance, and optimizes the employee lifecycle-from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance evaluation and retention.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build efficient recruitment pipelines.

- Oversee interview logistics, candidate evaluation standards, and final offer negotiations.

- Design and execute structured onboarding processes to integrate new hires smoothly and reduce early-stage turnover.

2. Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, leading conflict resolution with a fair and objective approach.

- Drive internal initiatives aimed at improving employee morale, engagement, and welfare.

- Actively champion corporate values and execute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) plans.

3. Performance Management & Development
- Manage the annual/semi-annual performance review lifecycle, ensuring managers complete reviews on schedule.

- Coordinate with team leads to identify skill gaps and organize targeted Learning & Development (L&D) programs.

- Spearhead succession planning to identify and nurture high-potential employees for future leadership.

4. Compliance, Payroll & Policy Admin
- Maintain complete and updated employee records within the internal HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure payroll variations, benefits, and leaves are accurately processed.

- Guarantee strict alignment with national and local labor laws, updating the company handbook as regular regulations shift.

Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or CIPD) are highly preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or supervisory/lead position.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking software, and intermediate-to-advanced data management (e.g., managing bulk employee records in Excel).

- Soft Skills: Superior emotional intelligence, exceptional verbal and written communication, and strong conflict-mediation capabilities.

Compensation

400000 – 600000 INR
