Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our data and application development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and database design principles. This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining database objects while ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.

- Design and maintain relational database structures.

- Create and optimize indexes to improve database performance.

- Perform database troubleshooting and resolve performance issues.

- Write complex SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.

- Collaborate with application developers to support database integration.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across databases.

- Assist in database migrations, backups, and recovery processes.

- Monitor database performance and recommend optimization strategies.

- Maintain database documentation and follow coding standards.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL.

- Good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).

- Experience with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

- Knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers.

- Understanding of Joins, Indexes, Constraints, and Normalization.

- Familiarity with database performance tuning and query optimization.

- Experience with Git or other version control systems.

- Basic understanding of database security concepts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ETL concepts and data migration.

- Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), MySQL Workbench, or pgAdmin.

- Basic knowledge of Python, Power BI, or Excel for data analysis.

- Understanding of backup and recovery processes.

- Familiarity with cloud databases such as Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 0-3 years of experience in SQL or database development.
